Let’s build and play musical shakers from recycled materials!

A family workshop in collaboration with GETA Samtök

Join us for a fun, hands-on workshop where children will build and decorate their own musical shakers using everyday waste materials like toilet paper rolls and cardboard boxes. This activity invites children to explore their creativity while learning about the value of repurposing simple items. After the instruments are ready, we will end the activity with a jam session, where everyone will have a chance to experiment with rhythm and sound together with their newly built shakers. Designed especially for international families, this workshop is perfect for multilingual groups and encourages participation across cultures and languages.
