Þríþættir draumar / dreams in three is an interactive installation built from recycled textiles. It is a world offering possibilities, where limitations and boundaries are explored and yet simultaneously constrained. The audience is invited to touch, sit, lay, imagine, look, feel and the list goes on. I aim to evoke something both complete and fluid, always evolving - a perpetual transformation. This piece can move in countless directions, posing questions about temporality and erasure: it reminds us that things don’t vanish but rather shift.
The number three is the first number that is a beginning, middle and ending all at once. It is the inaugural movement, the first change. To me, the number holds tension and release in a harmonized balance.
