Vala Sigþrúðar Jónsdóttir (1993) lives and makes art in Reykjavík. In recent years she has produced installations and sculptures that deal with the materiality of textiles and video, and the relationship these two mediums have with human environments and systems. She holds a BA from Gerrit Rietveld Academy, and an MA from the Icelandic University of the Arts.
