Birna, Bjartey, and Sóley are Icelandic dancers who first crossed paths during their studies at the Iceland University of the Arts. Since graduating, they have established careers both in Iceland and internationally, working as dancers and choreographers. In 2024, they united to form Óþekkt Tríó (Unknown Trio), a collective driven by a shared artistic vision. Their debut took place at the Reykjavik Dance Festival in November 2024, where they opened the festival with a performance. Installation. Later, in February 2025, the trio presented their work as part of the Safnanótt event at the Reykjavik Art Museum.
