In "Open Bar", which will be performed at Catalina, Rúnar takes on the role of a bartender. The audience watches as he prepares a mysterious drink called "A Cup of Dreams". The drink's ingredients are poetic, including reality, desire and sorrow. Each ingredient is accompanied by a performative gesture. Once the drink has been prepared, a ceremony begins, a kind of communion.

The work, which is inspired from the paradox of its title, "Open" - open, and "Bar" or "barre" - obstacle, is a meditation on the inescapable boundaries that lie between those who create and those who enjoy.
