The visitor's eye is sharp, and tap shoes are guests on the dance floor. The clichés, meanings and the drama loaded in the shoes and the sounds they produce mirror today's dance. In order to find the root you must use your foot. Desperately they try to revive shoes that are long dead. Catalina transforms into a place where dreams come true. Tradition and nostalgia battle with the despair and chaos of today - armed with lightness, humor and tap shoes.

Búkalú is an adult variety show hosted by Margrét Erla Maack. The show adapts to the venue and atmosphere of each occasion and has been showcased in greenhouses, pubs, private homes, and outdoors under the open sky - and now the show is coming to Café Catalina! Expect burlesque, circus acts, cabaret, drag, and all manner of antics. The show is restricted to ages 18 and up and is not suitable for those who fear the wonders of the human body.
