Búkalú is an adult variety show hosted by Margrét Erla Maack. The show adapts to the venue and atmosphere of each occasion and has been showcased in greenhouses, pubs, private homes, and outdoors under the open sky - and now the show is coming to Café Catalina! Expect burlesque, circus acts, cabaret, drag, and all manner of antics. The show is restricted to ages 18 and up and is not suitable for those who fear the wonders of the human body. The show features Gógó Starr, Rose Noir, Nonni and Broody Valentino from New York. Margrét Maack, Iceland's burlesque mother, will be hosting the event.

Broody Valentino - The Teddy Bear with Claws - is a burlesque performer from New York. He is one of the hardest working men in nightlife and theater and both performs at late night variety shows, puppet shows and teacher theater at college level.

Gógó Starr is Iceland's first professional drag queen. They are a popular entertainer and producer, from big corporate events to blow job workshops for bachelorette parties.

Margrét Maack is Iceland's Undisputed First Lady of Burlesque. She has brought burlesque to Iceland, not only to sticky stages but also performs at big theater shows and musicals.

Nonni started his career in gymnastics, then found circus and is a founding member of Iceland's first circus. He is a popular burlesque performer and recently an awarded weightlifter.

Rose Noir is a cabaret legend originally from Kansas that moved to Iceland a couple of years ago. Why you ask? Because she fell in love with the Icelandic variety scene. Her everyday self recently won two awards at The Icelandic Theater awards for choreography.
