Audio Walk for Seashores

Audio Walk for Seashores

Audio Walk for Seashores is a 30-minute-long guided audio walk and a collage of movement scores performed by any coastline. The performance is a result of L.E.A.F. (Learning through Ecological Art Forms), a workshop-based exploration of our responsibility and connection to natural environments. All parts of the project were created collectively with a fluid and diverse group of participants, led by Janosch Bela Kratz, Linde Hanna Rongen, Magdalena Tworek, and Meeri Susanna Mäkinen, members of the Improv for Dance Enthusiasts Collective. Together with the performers, the audience travels across glaciers, bodies of water, forests and bear caves through soundscapes, poems, tales and rebellious care. The performance blends fictional and non-fictional elements with site-specific embodiments. Audience members are asked to bring fully charged phones and their own headphones (charged if wireless).
