
Niko Placzek
Niko Placzek (b. 1999) – performer, filmmaker, director, and writer. A graduate of the Łódź Film School in the field of animated film and special effects. Since 2019, they have been co-creating events and performing for the queer community in Poland. In collaboration with designer Yasia Khomenko, they created a performance for the exhibition "Helena Bohle-Szacka. Przenikanie” (2021, Central Museum of Textiles in Łódź). In 2023-24, she worked on choreo-animation projects during the ANIMATOR film festival in Poznań. Their performances have been showcased in clubs and galleries, including Kannski Gallery in Reykjavík, Arsenał Municipal Gallery in Poznań, and Club Milonga during Dragana Bar by the KEM collective. Her latest film, "Nonbinaries” (2024) was presented as part of the exhibition “Get Over It” (2024) at CSW Kronika in Bytom. That she/they is really into dissolving.
