Atagata & Styrmir Örn

Atagata (b. 1980) is a Polish artist and a fashion designer. She graduated from the Academy of Fine Art in Wrocław (PL) at the Sculpture Department and the Fashion Design in Gerrit Rietveld Academy in Amsterdam (NL). Her body of work extends across a variety of mediums, including sculptures, paintings, textiles, clothes, video and performance. Motivated by her personal interest into cosmology, anthropology and archeology, her works serve as a vehicle materialising her spiritually-oriented practice. Occurring as spontaneous, deeply intuitive visions, her works deal with themes that refer to human development as a part of spiritual evolution.

Styrmir Örn Guðmundsson (b. 1984) is an Icelandic artist and performer whose multidisciplinary practice weaves together storytelling, visual art, and live performance. Known for his imaginative narratives his work explores the fluid boundaries between reality and fiction, employing sculpture, drawing, and music to enhance his performative storytelling. His approach often invites audiences into playful yet thought-provoking experiences that question language, identity, and collective memory. Styrmir has presented his performances and exhibitions internationally, including at the Reykjavik Art Museum, Ujazdowski Castle, and the Lithuanian Pavilion at the Venice Biennale.
