Emerging from the vibrant Icelandic music scene, singer, songwriter, and producer lúpína began her solo artistic journey with the release of her ethereal synth-pop single "alein" in autumn 2022. Since then, she has enchanted listeners with her poignant soundscapes and introspective lyrics, culminating in her debut album ringluð in early 2023 and the evocative MARGLYTTA ("jellyfish") in 2024. Her music intricately weaves complex layers of synths and atmospheric textures, inviting audiences to explore the depths of her emotional landscape. lúpína has presented her music at festivals all over the world, among them are Roskilde Festival, SXSW and Iceland Airwaves.
