Jagoda Dobecka is a visual artist based in Wrocław, Poland, and Prague, Czech Republic. Graduate of the Eugeniusz Geppert Academy of Fine Arts in Wrocław, Faculty of Painting. Currently a doctoral student at the Jan Matejko Academy of Fine Arts in Kraków.

Her practice explores themes such as grief, nostalgia, and longing, seeking ways to collectively experience states associated with loss, as well as elements that offer a sense of safety. She is interested in utilitarian artistic strategies that create spaces for forming and expanding relationships and for challenging existing social hierarchies.
