Diljá Þorvalds is an Icelandic artist living and working In Reykjavik. She graduated with a BA degree in fine arts from Iceland University of the Arts in 2021 and has since participated in and facilitated exhibitions in Iceland and abroad. Diljá co-runs Gallery Kannski in downtown Reykjavik. She primarily works with painting and textiles. In the works presented at the Hamraborg Festival, she aims to capture the attention of the youngest audiences, even though people of all ages can of course enjoy the works as well.
