Arnar Birgisson (b. 1988) has been painting since 2013. He completed a Bachelor’s degree in Fine Arts from Iceland University of the Arts in 2024. Arnar has worked both in Iceland as well as in The Hague in the Netherlands and his works reflect the power of the Icelandic landscape combined with the figurative nature of the Dutch classics. Arnar has worked as a kindergarten teacher since 2023 and draws inspiration from his students' sketches, which influence both his creative process and artworks.
