Alicja Kubicka (b. 1993, Bydgoszcz, Poland) is a visual artist living and working in Poznań. She graduated from the Faculty of Painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in Gdańsk in 2017. She has presented solo exhibitions and participated in group exhibitions at public and private institutions across Poland including Zachęta - National Gallery of Art in Warsaw, the National Museum in Gdańsk and BWA Wrocław Galleries of Contemporary Art. Her practice includes paintings on canvas, bulky sketchbooks that are difficult to exhibit, and awkward sculptures. She occasionally writes about art, but only when necessary. Alongside her artistic practice, she teaches and practices yoga.
