A performative research experiment on the wellbeing of heterosexuals in our day and age. The results will be used as fuel for the creation of Kviss búmm bang's latest work The Case of Heterosexuals which will premiere in the National Theatre of Iceland in April 2027.

Heterosexual people will be gently probed and prodded in an installation that gives them an opportunity to reflect on their lives and how they are actually fairing in a world where heteronormativity can be considered the structural framework of society.

Eva Björk Kaaber, Eva Rún Snorradóttir and Vilborg Ólafsdóttir have been working together as Kviss Búmm Bang since early 2009 making their so-called extended life performances. Their work is about researching reality: what’s normal and what’s not, in the hope to get people to question their everyday realities and realize the extent of their own influence on it. Their performances usually have no audience and no actors. Instead people are invited to step into a fixed structure, based on a real-life situation and to stay there for an extended period of time.
